AFL & NRL Grand Final Premiers

Two massive Grand Final games held over in Queensland & New South Wales in October. The 2020 AFL Grand Final went down in history having the game played interstate at The Gabba. The game was also played at a later time of the day where two Melbourne teams, the Richmond Tigers and Geelong Cats went head to head. The NRL Grand Final played at ANZ Stadium saw crowds enjoy an action-packed night between the Melbourne Storm and the Penrith Panthers.
AFL Grand Final
Unfortunately for the Geelong Cats, it wasn’t their night and the Richmond Tigers took home a win with a final score of 81 to 50. The Penrith Panthers were also unlucky on the night of October 25th, with the Melbourne Storm winning 26-20.
But for those lucky Tigers supporters and Melbourne Storm die-hards, it was a weekend full of celebrations! The premiership win of 2020 for both these teams will be a moment remembered in sporting history.
The unique playing and training conditions of the 2020 season due to COVID has made for an unforgettable year in the world of AFL and NRL.
