First Game Back Richmond Tigers vs. Collingwood Magpies

In the unprecedented times COVID-19 has brought, it has been a long and uncertain wait for AFL fans across Australia about when their favourite sport was making a comeback.

But the long wait is finally over and AFL is making its return for the 2020 season on Thursday, June 11.

Kicking off round two with a bang will see the Richmond Tigers taking on the Collingwood Magpies at the MCG. The four days of footy is sure to deliver quality entertainment, bringing fans across the country together to celebrate in the victories and commiserate in the losses of their beloved teams.

Under the strict new protocols adhering to the requirements of the health department, players and officials will be temperature screened every single time before they enter club facilities and will be tested twice a week - ahead of contact training and matches.

Although crowds will not be attending the stadiums due to social distancing guidelines and limits on large gatherings, that won’t stop the die-hard fans from enjoying all the action the boys on the field have to bring.
